Hospitals can feel cold, rushed, and impersonal. Home birth isn't right for everyone. Transitions Birth Center is the third option — the one that lets you control your experience without leaving safety behind. At Transitions, you labor in your suite. You use the tub if you want. Your support people are with you. Your credentialed midwife focuses on you. And if you need the hospital, St. Vincent Southside is right across the street.

St. Vincent Southside is directly across the street. HCA Memorial is nearby — our midwife holds privileges there and can continue your care if a transfer is needed. Emergency equipment on-site.

    Enroll with Transitions Birth Center — complete your Facility Fee Agreement online.

    Your midwife provides all clinical care. TBC provides the space, staffing, and equipment.

Facility Fee

$4,229 all-inclusive

Covers your birth suite, hydrotherapy, facility staffing, emergency equipment, and immediate postpartum. Professional midwifery fees billed separately by your provider.
